If you are looking solution for connecting Two Receivers or Set-Top Boxes to one LNB then you are in right place. Here we will tell you how you can connect two set-top boxes with one LNB. We will tell you about two easy methods.
Two Port LNB –
Connecting two receivers to one LNB (Low Noise Blocker) is possible with a few simple steps. to Connect the LNB to the satellite dish, to connect Receiver 1 to LNB Output 1, and to connect Receiver 2 to LNB Output 2. It is a very simple and recommended idea. You can buy two output LNBs so you can connect two set-top boxes with one LNBF. You can connect the same as given below pictures.Two-way Splitter –
You can buy a one-way power pass splitter so you can connect two boxes to a single LNBF.Why One way Power pass?
Because you will send power from one set-top box, not from both. But in this case, you have to power on both set-top boxes to run same time. So it is not recommended and also not simple to install. Note – by using the splitter trick, you will get signals from one polarity. It is useful for free dish connection only because it uses Vertical polarity only.
