Bangabandhu 119—Bangladesh’s first satellite, the Bangabandhu satellite, is located at longitude 119.09°E and has 14 C-band transponders and 26 Ku-band transponders. We are receiving lots of emails from our users that they are unable to get signals for the Bangabandhu1 satellite. So we have tried it for you. If you are using the same/old trick to get Bangabandhu satellite TV channels then it will not work. Because of Bangabandhu1 satellite airing FTA TV channels by using Extended C-Band LNB. It means normal C-band LNB will not work, you need a special C-Band LNB with special specifications.

Let’s understand the LNB and Satellite Transponder Frequencies first-

Normally we use 5150 LNB Frequency (LO) to receive C-Band channels. and at the same time, we use normal LNBs. Now you can calculate LO according to TV channel frequency (TP Frequency).

1

(Normal C-Band LNBs – 3.4GHz to 4.2GHz)

LNB Frequency (L.O)Transponder FrequencyReceiving Frequency
(L.O)(TV Frequency)Converted`
51504200 (4.2GHz)950 Mhz
51503400 (3.4GHz)1750 Mhz

2

(Filter C-Band LNBs – 3.7GHz to 4.2GHz)

LNB Frequency (L.O)Transponder FrequencyReceiving Frequency
(L.O)(TV Frequency)Converted
51504200 (4.2GHz)950 Mhz
51503700 (3.7GHz)1450 Mhz

3

(Extended  C-Band LNBs – 4.5GHz to 4.8GHz)

LNB Frequency (L.O)Transponder FrequencyReceiving Frequency
(L.O)(TV Frequency)Converted
57504800 (4.8GHz)950 Mhz
57504500 (4.5GHz)1250 MHz

4

(High Band Extended C-Band LNBs)

LNB Frequency (L.O)Transponder FrequencyReceiving Frequency
(L.O)(TV Frequency)Converted`
59505000 (5.0GHz)950 Mhz
59504800 (4.8GHz)1150 Mhz
Now you check all the transponder (TP) frequency list of Bangabandhu 119 satellite.
  • 4600 H 30000
  • 4640 H 17500
  • 4720 H 30000
  • 4760 H 30000
Now think about which LNB you should use?, of course, I used Extended C-Band LNB (4.5GHz to 4.8GHz) because it is designed to receive the above frequencies between 4.5GHz to 4.8GHz. See below The SOLID company also launched an extended C-Band LNB with the best specifications.   For LO: 5150MHz Input Frequency – 3.7~4.2GHz and also Receive 4.2GHz ~ 4.5GHz Output Frequency – 950 ~ 1250MHz and 1250 ~ 1550MHz For LO: 5750MHz Input Frequency – 4.5GHz ~ 4.8GHz Output Frequency – 1550 ~ 2050MHz Noise Figure: 12K Gain: 65dB And I used SOLID C-Band 180cm Dish Antenna and SOLID SF-900 satellite finder. Here is the setting in my set-top box or SF-810Pro Meter Satellite – Bangabandhu 119 Position – 119.09°E LNB Frequency – 5750 TP Frequency – 4600 Symbol Rate – 30,000 Polarization – H 22K – Auto and started to rotate the dish antenna using an SF-900 meter, finally, I found the Bangabandhu 119 satellite extended C-Band signals by using my FTA system after 20 minutes of hard work.       You can view Bangabandhu 119  FTA Channels on C-Band, scanning results on YouTube below : If you still have any questions, you can ask us by commenting; our team will reply shortly.
