GSAT-10 is a communication satellite launched in September 2011 by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The satellite is primarily designed for satellite-based television services and other communications applications. This satellite is available at 83° degree east satellite position.

Information about GSAT-10 satellite –

The GSAT-10 satellite is still active in 2024-2025. It was launched on September 29, 2012, from Kourou, French Guiana, and has a mission life of 15 years.

GSAT 10 is equipped with 12 Ku-band transponders and 12 C-band transponders, which can be used for a range of communication services including direct-to-home (DTH) television broadcasting, Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) services. Other satellite-based communication applications.

The satellite is located in an orbital position of 83° East longitude, providing coverage over India and neighboring countries. It has a life of about 15 years, and its operations are managed by ISRO’s Master Control Facility (MCF) in Hassan, Karnataka.

GSAT 10 has played a significant role in expanding the reach of satellite-based television services in India.
