How to lock a channel in any set-top box?

Broadcasters use this function in their set-top boxes in which they lock one of their satellite or Internet TV channels and give it to the IPTV or cable operator so that when the box is on, only one of their channels is played.

But skipping channels –

No matter what type of lock is there in any set-top box, if there is no skip feature then consider that set-top box is useless for me because, with the skip feature, I put those channels in the skip list that are not subscribed. And if you move the channel back and forth, the TV channels with skips get skipped. We like this feature the most.
