Like DD Metro, now DD Retro also lost in memories?

During the Lockdown period, Prasar Bharati launched a new special TV channel for showing the best programs from Doordarsha’s archive, after the success of the Ramayana and Mahabharat re-telecast on the Doordarshan National channel. We never forget that the Doordarshan channel became once again India’s no.1 channel in Barc ratings. DD Retro was Prasar Bharati’s fourth general entertainment TV channel. The channel aired some old and best-rated epic programs of the Doordarshan era, like Upanishad Ganga, Mahabharat, Chanakya, etc. DD Retro channel was launched by Prasar Bharati, to ensure that the people can watch their favorite old epic programs during the lockdown period. The channel was added on all cable TV and DTH platforms because the government has already directed all DTH and Cable TV platforms to show all the Doordarshan channels, and It was also added in DD Free Dish
