Lots of trackdishers asked the question, “Is Doordarshan’s digital terrestrial service active in India?” then we tested the DVB-T2 digital set-top box and Yagi antenna to receive TV signals in Delhi, the same tested in Gwalior and took feedback from various other locations but Doordarshan terrestrial service is not working.
It may suspended for degradation reasons or may be other reasons.
Is d2M launching in India? –
We have also heard and posted information on Trackdish.com about the d2m service that is coming soon in India, It may replace digital terrestrial service (DTT) in India.
Digital Terrestrial Television service is a DVB-T2 technology; it has replaced analog terrestrial television in India which transmits signals in digital format so picture and sound would be high quality.
Digital Terrestrial Television is also used for broadcast digital TV and radio channel service. but now It seems that it is not working in the main cities as well.
Note – It seems that DTT service working in Bangalore, but not confirmed.
