How to Scan DTT Channels by DVB-T2 TV Box?

Recently SOLID launched DVB-T2 S2 combo Set-Top Box SOLID 6600 (HDT2+S2-6600). Which can receive free-to-air TV channels from DD Free Dish and it can also receive digital TV Terrestrial channels from Doordarshan DTT service. SOLID HDT2+S2-6600 is a very good set-top box and its MRP is Rs.3500.

Today, We will check in this set-top box how to scan Doordarshan DVB T2 Terrestrial TV channels step by step.

Accessories Required :

1. SOLID 6600 (DVB T2 S2 Set-Top Box)
2. SOLID DVB-T2 Antenna (Inbuilt Amplifier)

Accessories Installation –

1. Power ON your set-top box and connect the DVB-T2 antenna.
2. Antenna Power should also be ON from Set-Top Box, to confirm check the power light in the T2 antenna.

Installation of DTT Channels –

Just Skip this window by pressing the MENU button.

To scan Doordarshan digital DTT TV channels, press the “Menu” button and to the 3rd option “Installation“.

Here you need to skip to the “DVB-T/T2” option and click OK.

Now you will see the “Search Settings” Window

Change only 3 Settings in this Window.

Just Select any country from the list.

Country – Any

Mode – Select “Auto”

Antenna Power – ON (If the amplifier is inbuilt)

(SOLID DVB-T2 antenna comes with the inbuilt amplifier to receive weaker signals.)

Click on Start – OK to search TV channels

Wait for a few minutes till the process complete to 100%

Wait for 2-3 Minutes till the Process is Complete 100%
