Bangabandhu satellite is the first satellite by Bangladesh. Currently, the Bangabandhu satellite located at longitude 119.09°E. The Bangabandhu satellite has 14 C-Band transponders and 26 Ku-Band Transponders.
We are receiving lots of emails from our users that they are unable to get signals for the Bangabandhu1 satellite. So we have tried it for you.
If you are using the same/old trick to get Bangabandhu satellite TV channels then it will not work. Because of Bangabandhu1 satellite airing FTA TV channels by using Extended C-Band LNB.
It means normal C-band LNB will not work, you need special C-Band LNB with special specifications.

Let’s understand the LNB and Satellite Transponder Frequencies first-
Normally we use 5150 LNB Frequency (LO) to receive C-Band channels. and at the same time, we use normal LNBs.
Now you can calculate LO according to TV channel frequency (TP Frequency).
1 | (Normal C-Band LNBs – 3.4GHz to 4.2GHz)
LNB Frequency (L.O) | Transponder Frequency | Receiving Frequency
(L.O) | (TV Frequency) | Converted`
5150 | 4200 (4.2GHz) | 950 Mhz
5150 | 3400 (3.4GHz) | 1750 Mhz
2 | (Filter C-Band LNBs – 3.7GHz to 4.2GHz)
LNB Frequency (L.O) | Transponder Frequency | Receiving Frequency
(L.O) | (TV Frequency) | Converted
5150 | 4200 (4.2GHz) | 950 Mhz
5150 | 3700 (3.7GHz) | 1450 Mhz
3 | (Extended C-Band LNBs – 4.5GHz to 4.8GHz)
LNB Frequency (L.O) | Transponder Frequency | Receiving Frequency
(L.O) | (TV Frequency) | Converted
5750 | 4800 (4.8GHz) | 950 Mhz
5750 | 4500 (4.5GHz) | 1250 MHz
4 | (High Band Extended C-Band LNBs)
LNB Frequency (L.O) | Transponder Frequency | Receiving Frequency
(L.O) | (TV Frequency) | Converted`
5950 | 5000 (5.0GHz) | 950 Mhz
5950 | 4800 (4.8GHz) | 1150 Mhz |
Now you check all the transponder (TP) frequency list of Bangabandhu satellite.
- 4600 H 30000
- 4640 H 17500
- 4720 H 30000
- 4760 H 30000
Now think which LNB you should use?, of course, I used Extended C-Band LNB (4.5GHz to 4.8GHz) because it is designed to receive the above frequencies between 4.5GHz to 4.8GHz. See below
The SOLID company also launched extended C-Band LNB with the best specifications.
For LO: 5150MHz
Input Frequency – 3.7~4.2GHz and also Receive 4.2GHz ~ 4.5GHz
Output Frequency – 950 ~ 1250MHz and 1250 ~ 1550MHz
For LO: 5750MHz
Input Frequency – 4.5GHz ~ 4.8GHz
Output Frequency – 1550 ~ 2050MHz
Noise Figure: 12K
Gain : 65dB
And I used SOLID C-Band 180cm Dish Antenna and SOLID SF-900 satellite finder.
Here is the setting in my set-top box or SF-810Pro Meter
Satellite – Bangabandhu1
Position – 119.09°E
LNB Frequency – 5750
TP Frequency – 4600
Symbol Rate – 30,000
Polarization – H
22K – Auto
and started to rotate the dish antenna by using SF-900 meter, and finally, I have found the Bangabandhu satellite extended C-Band signals by using my FTA system after 20 minutes of hard work.
Here are detailed channel list –

Good Afternoon, As I am loving to watch Bangladesh TV Channels for which 5 nos extended C Band LNB of SOLID for has been purchased for last 16 month . Can you please tell why LNB’s are not working more than 3-4 month, Regards
Hi Nihar,
if you are using this LNB in Siliguri, then it may be an issue of 5G signal interference.
have you received signals for any TP?
